The holidays are just around the corner! An exciting time of year full of joy and laughter! The only hard part is not knowing what to get for your friends during this holiday season. No worries! There are plenty of gifts out there that are friendly to your wallet, and your friends are sure to love!

1: “I appreciate you because…” Jars.

These jars are full of reasons why you appreciate your friend. Literally! All you need are mini Post-It notes, a Mason jar, a pen, and an index card. That’s it! On each Post-It note, you just write one reason why you appreciate the person you are giving this gift to, and put it in your Mason jar. You can do as many as you would like to fill up the jar. Use the index card to label the jar with their name. Pretty simple and budget friendly!

2: Candy Baskets

Typically, you see candy as a stocking stuffer. Well, why not create a basket out of it? You can gather some of your friends’ favorite candies and put it all into a basket. A simple, easy, and delicious gift.

3: “Open When….” Boxes

This gift is a sweet trend on the internet that has risen the past few years. These are similar to the jars I previously mentioned. All you need are pieces of paper/card stock, envelopes, a pen, and a shoe box/decorative box. This gift is just letters for someone to read in certain scenarios all in one box. For example, you can write a letter for someone to read when they are feeling down. So you would write the letter and write on the envelope “Open when you are feeling down.” That is all there is to it! You can do as many of these as you want, and you can decorate the box to their liking. A personalized gift can be so meaningful, but it does not have to break the bank.

4: Any kind of baked good

This one is pretty self-explanatory, but baked goods can be a great gift! If your friend has a favorite treat, baking it for them is sure to win them over! You can even put them in a decorated box/container to add a little bit of sparkle.

5: Gag gifts

Gag gifts are so fun to do, especially if it is for a friend. If you have never heard of a gag gift, it is simply a joke gift. It’s something funny, and usually small. These gifts are typically budget friendly since they are not meant to be what is called a “true gift.” These are just fun to give to see the reactions they get and the laughter they bring.
