When Thanksgiving food comes to mind we think of stuffing, mashed potatoes, and of course, turkey. However, I like to argue and say the best part of the Thanksgiving table is the desserts. Here are the top 5 favorite desserts I look forward to every Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin pie is a Thanksgiving classic. This pie is a personal favorite of mine. Every year my mom and I bake this Thanksgiving pie together. After a long day of eating stuffing and Turkey, this is the perfect dessert to get you out of your turkey Coma.
2. Apple Pie
Apple pie is an iconic dessert on the Thanksgiving table. This dessert is a favorite of my grandparents every Thanksgiving. The warm taste of the delicious apples with crust is perfect to top off a great Thanksgiving dinner. Sometimes even a little vanilla ice cream with your pie could top off the night.
3. Pecan Pie
Pecan pie has slowly become a classic Thanksgiving addition. This pie is the perfect combination of pecans, sugar, and syrup. It’s the perfect dessert for your family’s sweet tooth and a great addition to your Thanksgiving dessert table.
4. Apple Cider Donuts
Donuts have become a classic American sweet. However, apple cider donuts are a fall classic. If you are not in the mood for a typical piece of pie after the Thanksgiving meal, the best dessert for you is a donut. I personally love having an apple cider donut with a large cup of coffee or tea. Cinnamon flavoring is the best way to end your Thanksgiving day.

Not too many people know about this sweet dish, however, it is my favorite part of Thanksgiving! Pumpkin cheesecake is the perfect cheesecake and pumpkin pie combination. Topped with whipped cream this creamy delicious dessert is the best way to top off your Thanksgiving dinner.
