The Christmas season always comes flying around so quickly. This year, especially so, and I am not quite sure why. So much can happen in a year, and I know that I am so incredibly thankful for the holiday season and being able to come home to my family now that I am back on campus in person.

This season can be anxiety-filled, though. Trying to find the perfect present for a loved one is hard. It is tough to try to encompass their entire personality and find something that will make them so happy. I know I always take it very seriously, even though the ones I love will not care at all.

Thankfully, gifts are really up to you to craft in your head. You can virtually assign meaning to anything. For this reason, I am a big fan of jewelry, and it plays into why I have a shopping problem when it comes to it.

One thing that I am surely putting on my Christmas list this year is a Forever bracelet or a permanent bracelet that uses welding technology to zap a chain onto your wrist. This became quite popular this past year, and I knew I would be asking for it once I saw it this year.

The bracelet is different depending on where you go. There are a large number of different places that all offer a similar service. Some vary from simple gold chains to larger bracelets with a gem or two on them.

To get one, you book an appointment at your local store, which you can find through a simple google search like “permanent bracelet near me.” The bracelets are measured to perfectly fit your wrist to ensure the bracelet is not bothersome, too tight, or too loose. Additionally, the process is quick and harmless.

These bracelets are made to last, so they are definitely priced in higher price ranges, depending on your style preference. Silver chains go for as low as $50 though, which is not a bad bargain for good quality, considering they are meant to be permanent.

They are suitable for any person, too, due to the variation within designs. However, children under ten years old are not allowed at certain places. For a unique Christmas gift, these seem like the perfect option. If all goes haywire, though, you can cut the bracelet off with scissors at home.

Essentially though, these piqued my interest immediately. It is really what you make of it. Meaning makes everything. Imagine a sister who you do not often see because you’ve both left the house and started your own lives. Think of your best friend from home who you wished you could talk to more. It creates a truly unbreakable bond that you can hold onto when sometimes you can’t in real life.

It can be a link between forgotten memories, hearts, and even lost souls like a grandma or sweet first puppy who has passed. As dainty as these bracelets can be, they can mean the most.
