I’m back with another gift guide!

I am not going to lie, Christmas shopping is getting me through this semester, and so I thought this week we would do a gift guide for any mothers, aunts, or grandmothers in your life.  Plus, online shopping is a fun study break activity.

Of course, everyone likes different things, and this list is definitely gendered, so feel free to take inspiration from this for anyone special in your life! Happy shopping!

  1. For the Working from Home Mom
    1. Laptop stand – I really hope my mom isn’t reading this, because it’s likely this is what she’s getting for Christmas this year.  She keeps putting her laptop on stacks of books on her desk….
    2. Lapdesk – So your favorite person can do work all from the comfort of their bed.
    3. A Dry Erase Door Hanger – So you’re never wondering if you can go in their room or not.
    4. A motivational flip calendar – So cute and inspiring! I want one.
    5. A desk organizer – Self explanatory!
  2. For the Mom that is always Cooking
    1. Herb garden kit – I feel like this could be a hit for anyone that likes to cook. I kind of want one, and I don’t even like cooking.
    2. Knife set – I’ve gotten my mom multiple knives over the past few Christmases and she always loves it.
    3. A new seasoning – Highly recommend also checking out the cooking aisle at TJ Maxx.  They always have good sets.
    4. A knife sharpener – So they always stay nice and sharp.
    5. A new cutting board set – These are bamboo!
    6. An air fryer – This one is a little bit more expensive, but if they haven’t gotten on the air fryer bandwagon yet, this is a great option!
  3. For the Always Throwing Parties Mom
    1. Cards Against Humanity Family Edition – I did not know this was a thing, but I’m thinking about buying it.  I always want to play Cards Against Humanity with my family, but we all know how that would turn out… Awkward.
    2. A new serving tray – I linked one here that is marble from Amazon, but you can even get a personalized one! There are tons of options on Etsy.  Super cute if your person is into making charcuterie boards.  This also could be a practical gift for someone who just got their first apartment.
    3. A wine decanter – This is so aestheticaly pleasing.
    4. A set of cute coasters – Love these!
  4. For the Adventurous Mom
    1. A solar charger – I feel like I need this for tailgates.
    2. Waterproof notebook – I got this for a friend a few years ago, and they loved it!
    3. Yeti mug – Typical, but still a good gift.
    4. A natural park passport – Why do I want one of these even though I’ve only been to one park.
  5. For the Mom that says she “Doesn’t Want Anything.”
    1. A Welcome Mat for their House – Is it bad I really want to get one of these when I live alone? So cute.
    2. A new wallet – Always a good choice! TJ Maxx and Ross have some high quality wallets from designers that are super inexpensive, as well.
    3. Adopt” a wild animal! – I linked the one here to adopt a turtle, but this is an amazing and meaningful gift for someone that really cares about the environment adn animals.  Your donation goes to a meaningful cause, and you get to track and see your animal!
  6. For the Mom that really needs some Self-Care
    1. Shower steamers – I really want to try these, so I put them on this list (:
    2. Lotions, bath salt, etc – Take a trip to your local Bath and Body Works! *Cough, cough* The Semi-Annual Sale is coming up.
    3. A book they have been wanting or one you think they will like.  Here is a list of the most popular reads this year.
    4. A mindfulness journal – I got my mom one of these randomly a few years ago and she loves it.
    5. A subscription to a meditation app!
  7. Sentimental Gifts
    1. Family portrait – I chose one randomly, but there are a ton of different styles on Etsy, all personalizable! I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day one year.
    2. Birth flower necklace – So cute and dainty. Love.
  8. For the Pet Parents
    1. Animal portrait – I think this is so cute and so thoughtful, especially for those dog and cat moms.
    2. Matching necklace and tag for collar – Need I say more? Adorable.
