It’s no secret that the biggest stars like Rihanna and Billie Eilish are the queens of fashion trends. But before the newest looks hit the red carpet, celebs first pop out with fresh looks on social media. Here are a few stars to follow that could be your new style inspiration.

Rowan Blanchard

The former Disney channel actress’ quirky and girly style is truly one of a kind. Years ahead in the future of fashion, Rowan was already wearing a corset and cowboy hat together in 2019, when it didn’t become a trend until 2021. The cherry on top of all her outfits is a Pinterest-worthy makeup look that you’ll want to try to DIY. The star even drops her outfit details from time to time, inspiring her fans to curate their own in similar ways, sharing, “The denim corset I found for 20 dollars, my mom’s old boots, and yellow gingham sailor moon from Dover street a couple [of] years ago gets its first wear.”

Coi Leray

Coi Leray may be most well known for her oh-so catchy songs that make perfect TikTok tunes, but there is just as much to be said about her style as her music. The singer’s cute and curly style of braids exploded on social media in the spring and now holds her namesake. When it comes to clothes, Coi is a perfect example of how to add versatility and duality to your style. She layers with tomboy touches as much as she shows off with sheer and strappy tops. With throwing away dressing for the male gaze on the rise, her looks are sure to set trends.

Willow Smith

The new queen of pop-rock’s unapologetic and carefree style set the tone for many of the e-girl trends that emerged during quarantine. Like Coi, duality plays a big part in Willow’s rock princess look. Only she could pull off the contrasting details like metal chains with tie-dye or pairing blazers and fishnets.

Best of all, her style feels relatable. In between her extravagant looks for magazine shoots, Willow can often be seen rocking sweats or wearing a band crop top and tennis skirt onstage. In 2014, a young Willow told Wonderland, “Flexibility with yourself and your looks shows self-confidence. You’re willing to paint on your canvas with whatever comes from within you.”

Dua Lipa

Even though Versace’s favorite it-girl has had many iconic red carpet moments, it seems her best style moments still fall under the fashion radar. Dua’s bright style has the range of all the Spice Girls combined with a futuristic touch. Her style signature is monochromatic outfits in two extremes—playful, bright hues or all black. All-black seems to be a personal favorite for edgy looks on and off tour, featuring lots of leather and smart oversized blazers. Her colorful monochromatic looks are always show-stopping in glittery bright pinks, greens, and purples.

Ariana Grande

Ariana’s wardrobe looks just as romantic and airy as her multiple chart-topping love songs sound. Hints of lovely details like lace, ruffles, and florals are present in almost every look. The subdued color palette featuring neutrals and the occasional light pink look creates a calm and mature aesthetic that one can’t help but find adorable. When it’s time to kick it casual, light denim paired with a crop top is a must for the singer to bring her Victorian-esque pastels to contemporary times.
