Every fall, new trends emerge. Sometimes it can be difficult to hop on them when you’re unsure of how to style them. Don’t panic! Here’s a style guide for six fashion trends this fall that will have you looking “un-be-leaf-able!”

Sweater Vests

While the timeless long cardigan has been a staple for years, sweater vests have become the new trendy option to spice up any of your fall outfits. For a simple look, pair it with classic denim jeans and cute booties. Or, dress it up a little with a mini skirt, a white button down and a pair of sneakers. Sweater vests are great pieces for layering and staying cozy this fall.

Shackets

Shackets are the ultimate crossover of a jacket and shirt. Ultimately speaking, a shirt-jacket. For an effortless look, layer your Shacket with the tight turtle neck or chunky sweater and a pair of straight jeans. Feel free to wear a pair of leggings or joggers for a more comfortable look. Polish this outfit off with a a pair of combat boots or cute tennis shoes.

Oversized Blazer

Oversized blazers have made a comeback this fall, but this time in a more causal fashion. This piece works typically well with any neutral color bodysuit, cropped turtleneck or even a plain white t-shirt. Combine this look with any pair of mom jeans and heeled boots. If you’re interested in styling your oversized blazer as a dress, make sure to add a belt to simulate where your waist is and some sleek heels to enhance the look further.

Cowboy Boots

I know what you’re thinking, but you don’t have to live in the south or attend a rodeo to wear cowboy boots this fall. Try pairing them with bootcut denim jeans or a mini skirt. Don’t hesitate to wear them with a matching blazer set and fitted pants, or even a sweater dress and a jean jacket to compliment the two. This trend is a super fun and unique way to tackle fall fashion.

Leather Jackets

There are tons of ways to make a leather jacket stylish without looking like a biker. A perfect option is paring it with a turtleneck sweater, leather pants and chunky heels. However, you can certainly wear your favorite pair of mom jeans for a more causal on-the-go look. Another option is wearing a neutral color sweatshirt underneath with a pair of leggings to stay extra warm and comfy on those crisp fall days.

Biker Shorts

Biker shorts are back, and I don’t think anyone’s complaining. They’re so comfortable and versatile and are definitely a must-have for this fall. On a warmer day, you can’t go wrong with classic biker shorts and a graphic tee. When it’s a colder day, consider adding a cute puffer jacket to warm up your look. If you’re feeling more formal, by all means, pair your biker shorts with a blazer and crop top.

This season is certainly a great time of year to showcase your sense of style. With that being said, hopefully this guide can help you with any fashion troubles you come across. Happy Fall!
