Halloween is the one day a year where you can dress up as whoever you want. One of the most important parts of Halloween is finding the perfect costume, and what’s better than dressing up by yourself? Dressing up with your friend, too! - Angel and Devil
An angel and devil costume is very popular, but that’s because it’s a super cute and easy costume! Not only is this great for a partner duo, but if you lose each other at some point in the night, it’s a great solo costume, too! There are so many routes you can take for both of these costumes. You can be the classic white angel and red devil, a dark angel and black devil, and so many other color schemes that go with this costume. If you want to keep this costume DIY, all you need is a white dress or a top/bodysuit and a white skirt/pants, and (of course) white angel wings and a halo. This best friend costume is one of my personal favorites. Even if you haven’t watched “Clueless,” that’s totally okay because the costumes are so nice anyways! These costumes are also really easy to get. The plaid skirts you can buy in probably any store you go to in the mall. Forever 21 and Windsor at Willowbrook Mall, NJ has had these types of skirts on display, and a bunch of other stores have them out during Halloween time. - Woody and Buzz Lightyear
What’s a better best friend costume than one of the most famous best friend duos? This pair makes for an insanely cute costume, and it’s not hard to find either! There are a bunch of different routes you can take for this costume, too. You can go full-out and get a cowboy costume and a space costume, or you can keep it more casual and just wear a flannel for Woody or a shirt for Buzz Lightyear. However you decide to style Buzz and Woody, this is a great choice for Halloween.
- Daphne and Velma
If you and your friend are into fighting crimes, the duo from Mystery Inc. is perfect for you. If you want to make these costumes DIY, here are some tips for you. For Daphne, all you need is a purple dress and a green scarf that you can wrap around your neck. You can also rock a purple headband and heels, too, if that’s your style. For Velma, you need an orange sweater/bodysuit and a red skirt. You can’t forget about Velma’s iconic glasses either.
