Events to Attend at Pace University’s Social Justice Week

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pace chapter.

Pace University is hosting its second annual Social Justice Week. The week runs from October 25 – 29th and honors Pace University student Danroy “DJ” Henry. The week is dedicated to Henry who was killed by a Pleasantville police officer in 2010. Henry was a stellar athlete and student at Pace University and always valued being kind and doing acts of goodwill, especially in youth athletics. The week celebrated Henry’s birthday, October 29th, and honors his legacy. The week has numerous events happening each day ranging from movie viewings to discussions. I really encourage everyone to attend at least one event to broaden their horizon and further commit efforts to ending white supremacy and racism. Here are a few events happening during the week!
