This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at RIT chapter.

Softly the wind blows;

as I lay here peacefully cocooned.

Around me I hear a soft whisper,

she gently whispers in my ear:

“hush now darling, close your eyes.”

It is so tempting

and my body yearns to give in.

But something stops me.

Something so strong;

so powerful, that it startles me awake.

It was just a dream;

that only lives now as a fragment.

A fragment so small yet so big.

I'm a creative writer at heart and love to write about my experiences around me! My only flaw about this, is I tend to procrastinate sitting down and writing it out!
