Hocus Pocus (1993)

Ghostbusters is another fan favorite to watch during the Halloween season. While ghostbusters, the crew discovers a gateway to another dimension, which leads to a doorway that will release evil upon the city of New York. Twitches (2005)
What’s better than a family movie and Halloween movie all in one? Twitches is another Disney Channel classic about two twin sisters, Alex and Camryn, reunited on their 21st birthday after not knowing each other exists. Using the strong witch powers that they both possess, the twins save their kingdom in the magical dimension of Coventry from the Darkness. They also meet their real mom and dad along the journey while battling being real young adults and attending college. Hulu premium and Disney+ are two platforms you can watch the Twitches in action!
The Haunted Mansion (2003)
Okay, it’s settled. Disney knows how to produce some good Halloween movies. Similar to Twitches, The Haunted Mansion involves family shenanigans. After his wife accuses him of not spending enough time with his children, real estate agent Jim Evers, played by the famous Eddie Murphy, takes the family on vacation to spend more quality time. However, on the way, Evers stops at a sinister mansion that he was asked to sell. Little did the family know the mansion was haunted, and now have to help the ghosts who live there break a curse. Casper the Friendly Ghost (1995)
Last but not least, Casper the Friendly Ghost is the Halloween movie with a dash of romance that you didn’t know you needed to watch. As the “nicest ghost of them all,” Casper peacefully haunts a mansion in Maine when a ghost whisperer enters one say to communicate with the ghosts living there. With the specialist comes his teenage daughter Kat, who Casper instantly falls in love with. Since he is a ghost and Kat is human, their relationship is nothing but easy. Kat and her dad try to help the spirits cross over to the other side, but will they succeed? Watch on Amazon Prime or YouTube TV!
