This past summer, while living with Windsor and Annie in NYC and preparing Her Campus for the launch, I also had the privilege of interning at SELF magazine through the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) Internship Program!
Every year, SELF hosts their “Women Doing Good” Awards, where they honor extraordinary women who are working hard to make a difference in all kinds of ways! The winners receive a $10,000 donation for their respective charity or organization, will be featured in the September issue of SELF, and honored at an
awards dinner in New York City.
I wanted to encourage you to either enter the contest yourself or to nominate someone you know for it! The deadline to enter is March 30, 2010 and more info can be found here.
