My favorite party of the year (hands down) is Honky Tonk Harvard. Put on annually by the Harvard Texas Club, Honky Tonk Harvard is the one night a year where I can put on my cowboy boots, sqeeze into my daisy dukes, tie my gingham shirt around my waist, and not feel funny about it. It’s also the one night a year when I can line dance at Harvard (Cotton Eye Joe anyone?). The night always makes me miss home (I’m from North Carolina) and makes me glad that I come from such a fun place!
