This past Saturday, Windsor, Annie and I spoke at the Intercollegiate Business Convention in Boston, put on by Harvard Undergraduate Women In Business. There were over 1000 college women in attendance from over 100 colleges! It’s an amazing day of speakers, panels, networking events, career fairs, resume reviews, etc. We had attended this convention as undergrads, so it was neat to now be there on the “other side” as speakers!
Kate White, the Editor-in-Chief of Cosmo, and Lauren Merkin, the founder of Lauren Merkin Handbags (who we’ve worked with at HC!), were the keynote speakers of the day.

Windsor and I spoke on a panel called “Starting and Running Your Own Business” along with other entrepreneurs including the Founder & CEO of Harpoon Brewery and the Founder & CEO of DuVine Adventures. Annie spoke on a panel called “Internet & Business” along with top executives from Google and Pandora! We got to meet a TON of college women and saw some HC-ers there, including Amanda Pretulac, our Campus Correspondent from USF St. Petersburg, and Liz Ahern, our Harvard Campus Correspondent who was in charge of the whole convention!
After our panels there was a delicious lunch including this yummy cheesecake!
