Yesterday, Her Campus was featured in an article on the FRONT PAGE of the Sunday Business section of the New York Times! See a digital version of the layout below, featuring our sweet banner/a shot of us in the HC office taking over that prime real estate ;)
Let’s just recap what you just saw on that page: Bank of America. Her Campus. Yes.
For the article, Windsor and I were interviewed to talk about the youth entrepreneur movement and our thoughts on personally creating our own jobs and career paths fresh out of college (or during/instead of college, as the case may be…) and through entrepreneurship, fighting youth unemployment and underemployment. Read the full article online here, or grab the print copy from Sunday! It’s currently #1 Most Emailed Article on the entire New York Times website!! We’re so so so thrilled about the coverage and are also so grateful to many of you who have passed it on to your family and friends!
Here’s what the second part of the article looked like, with a pic of the three of us!
Lastly, a huge thank you to a fellow entrepreneur and author Scott Gerber, who champions youth entrepreneurship and made the article possible. Scott founded the Young Entrepreneur Council, a group of entrepreneurs who answer questions and give advice about start-ups, of which Stephanie, Windsor, and I are members! His book about youth entrepreneurship, Never Get a “Real” Job, is topping the charts at amazon.com right now — check it out! For more on Scott and the Council, check out his website here.
Lots and lots of HC Love!
