After a couldn’t-have-come-sooner winter break and some much-needed r & r, I’m annually thankful for the soft transition to serious school-mode that Syllabus Week always provides. The start of spring semester is an exciting time of new classes, clean slates and fresh new year’s resolutions. As Oprah says, “it’s another chance to get it right!” We at Her Campus Mizzou have looked forward to this first week’s homework-free evenings, reunion lunch and dinner dates and … up to nine inches of snow?!

Stay safe this week, collegiettes! And in these coming snowed in nights bundled under your covers, after your afternoons of snow angels, snowball fights and Netflix instant queue watch parties, come back and visit us. We couldn’t be more excited to bring you the newest and best of all things Mizzou this semester – according to HER! We can’t thank you enough for your friendship and support these first several months since our founding. We have some great things on the horizon you don’t want to miss – new columns, practical articles, inspiring profiles, be-there-or-be-square events and more!

Cheers to acing this semester’s classes, bleeding your brightest black and gold and not wiping out on your trek across campus. Happy 2011, collegiettes™!
