LOFT “Wear the Pants”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Northeastern chapter.

This month, I was lucky enough to be selected by Ann Taylor LOFT in their partnership with Her Campus for the “Wear the Pants” campaign. I was sent a pair of their black, modern fit slacks and told to style and model them however I’d like. I chose four different looks with some of my favorite items from my closet, and was asked to share them with all our readers!

The above look is my favorite –   I’m wearing my loose slouchy Forever 21 tee which I pull on for all sorts of occasions – going out, heading to class, with jeans or leggings. I’ve paired it with a pastel color beaded necklace, a thick silver bangle and my go-to silver flats. I’d wear this outfit to my internship or my part time job where I have to wear business casual attire.

Check out my other looks with the LOFT pants below!

This sweater vest and button down pair (both from Express) is one of my favorite combinations and I’ve worn it to interviews in the past. It can be worn more formally tucked in, but I like the more casual look of the stripes sticking out, especially paired with my funky silver earrings!

This tank is my favorite summer item, and I wear it with everything – dress pants, skirts and jeans! Paired with a bright cardigan and my Tiffany Collection silver key, I think this combo makes a perfect internship look!

This outfit could be an easy thing to throw on for work or a more formal meeting. The blazer is one of my favorites and was only $35 at H&M last season, and the lace tank is one of my wardrobe staples!
