This week Miss Lapaix gets attacked by the “How To” of all questions. Read below to find out what Rider girls are asking how to do. And no, this is not a YouTube make-up tutorial on Gaga’s “Born This Way Grammy” performance, BUT you will feel enlightened and ready to do what Miss Lapaix tells you to.

Q. How do I get a man to stop playing games?

A. Oh, honey! This is the oldest question in the book and even though you will run into many women that have a certain plan on how to catch a guy, as if he were some type of squirming lizard, here’s my answer: You cannot catch something that does not want to be caught (this applies to human beings ONLY! Not tested on animals). Anyway, a man knows when it is time for him to settle down, because he feels it and because he wants to. Not because you made him. If he plays games and you follow after them that makes you a game-player. Now ask yourself, “Do I want to keep playing his game?” If not, unplug that B!%&# !

Q. How do you get over a break-up?
A. Time heals all. I know you hate that answer because I’m sure you have heard it thousands of times before. But everyone is right. Allow yourself to cry and feel down, it’s a good healing mechanism.  I’ll tell you what WON’T help you: pretending. Most of us like to go to the club, pick up another guy, have loads of meaningless sex and after all that, we still have that empty feeling inside. This is because it is not satisfying! So take your time, allow yourself to go through the break up, not just “get over” it. Some tips: Call your friends over for a “girl talk”, pig out, write how you feel in a journal (even if it’s brutal), go for a walk, cry, scream…whatever it takes, BUT do not PRETEND!

Q. How do you know it is meant to be?
A. No one ever knows because love is what you make it. Of course, falling in love is not a choice, it just happens. So take it for what it is. Just feel it, do it, do not question it.  People know they are in love because they show it and they cannot control their emotions for that person, so allow yourself to be taken by those emotions and just love him.

Q. How do I get over the guy I lost my virginity to?
A. Wow, this question is HUGE. *takes a deep breath and downs a spoon of chocolate ice cream*… okay, I’m ready. This is a scary feeling for all girls who have lost their virginity and aren’t with their guy anymore. But this happens often. Truth is, some never get over him and some definitely do. Do not pressure yourself to get over it, you are hurt and that is okay. You will not know that you are over it until you find yourself over it. Understand? I can promise you this, if you keep a positive attitude and continue to focus on yourself and your well being, you will begin to feel much better.

Q. How do I tell my boyfriend that he needs to spend more time with me, without sounding bitchy?
A. I suggest you have a conversation with your boyfriend, as far as space is concerned.  When you talk to him be calm, even sexy. Men do not like nagging, I mean, neither do women. So tell him like this and demand it of him to spend time with you:  ex) “Hey baby, you are staying in with me today, trust me, you’ll have some fun.” Now, if he looks at you with the “bbm huh?” face, well just sit and tell him the truth. Tell him that you would like to spend more time with him, suggest things both of you can do that are not too girly or too testosterone driven. Something both of you will enjoy. Remember, a relationship is about compromise and making it fun to be with each other. Great tips: Play a sexy game, rock-paper-scissor SHOOT for one of your fav movies, hit the town, play a sport…there’s so much to do! He will be so addicted to spending time with you that you’ll be asking me how to send him away without being too mean. HA!
