This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

And the Oscar goes to … who?
It’s never fun to be out of the loop come the night of the Academy Awards. Maybe you haven’t had the chance (or extra cash – those student ticket discounts only help so much!) to catch all the films up for this year’s Best Picture award. Maybe tomorrow night’s awards show will perk your interest in the story behind one of the 10 flicks nominated. (Or, maybe it will just perk your interest in James Franco…)

Either way, consider this your one-stop-shop for all things 2011 Best Picture. Written by all-star staff member and film buff Brooke Parsons, the Her Campus Mizzou “Best Picture Buzz” mini-series covers the who, what, how Oscar-worthy and bottom line of each film in the running. Agree or disagree with Brooke’s opinions, or have sure-fire Oscar predictions of your own? Let us know!
