Senior Deborah Ayoade was assured that Mercer would be her collegiate home. Having extensive involvement in numerous activities on campus, Deborah has rightfully made her mark on Mercer’s campus.

The Pre-Nursing/ psychology major and French/Chemistry minor finds time out of her busy schedule to organize and plan events at Mercer through Quadworks. This semester, she serves as the Greek-Life Intern, acting as advisor to all three Greek councils on Mercer’s campus.

Deborah is a member of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity, the secretary for the African Student Association, in addition to serving as the social and philanthropy chair for Zeta Phi Beta, Incorporated. Noting her keen sense for event planning, Deborah wishes to work in event-planning part-time for friends and family.

When Deborah finds time to spare, she enjoys reading Christian-based literature, and she cites her birthplace, London, England among her favorite places to travel. With tastes in music ranging from Classic Rock to old-school R&B, her palette preferences include basics like chicken and broccoli.
