Kate Winslet: Most Glamorous Woman Of The Year

We love Kate Winslet. First of all — how can we not be obsessed with the girl who stole Leo’s heart in Titanic? But now, she is not only just an amazing actress, but she also seems to be somewhat normal (a refreshing change from starlets with impossible bodies and lives we can only imagine living).

The gorgeous gal is covering April’s Glamour Magazine (available March 8) and we’ve got a preview!

Kate is wearing Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress and rose gold Van Cleef & Arpels earrings on the cover  — the girl totally wows with those curves. No wonder the mag gave her top honors of being the #1 most glamorous woman of the year!

On body issues:
“I will tell you that when I was heavy, people would say to me—and it was such a backhanded compliment—they would say, ‘You’ve got such a beautiful face,’ in the way of, like, ‘Oh, isn’t it a shame that from the neck down you’re questionable.’ ”

On being an Oscar winner:
“…I was the kid who never won the races. I never jumped the highest. I wasn’t on the list of the high-achieving. That wasn’t me, so winning the Oscar was like winning all the prizes in one single night that I never won as a kid. For me, it was an internal-fist-pumping moment of yes.”

On her ambitions:
“I have just wanted to be an actress. That’s always been my goal. I didn’t want to be famous. I wanted to play incredibly challenging, multifaceted characters. Because we are all a puzzle.”

Glamour also identified stylish women like Nicole Richie, Emma Roberts, Christina Hendricks, Blake Lively, and Rachel Bilson as among the most glamorous this year.
