Last night we had another fun-filled night in Miami. After only being able to window shop on Lincoln Rd., we headed somewhere a little friendler to our startup salaries: the Saw Grass Mills Outlet Mall in Ft. Lauderdale! We are all *obsessed* with outlet shopping so when my mom called me yesterday to tell me about this place, we knew we had to go, ASAP. The stores closed at 8 on Sunday so we decided we needed at least three hours there and got there a little after 4:30.
The stores there were AMAZING! Saks Off 5th, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Barney’s outlet, Michael Kors outlet, Nordstrom Rack, Juicy Couture, and the one I thought was most exciting: a Bloomingdale’s outlet!! I had never seen one of those before. We all scored some super cute items and incredible deals: Annie got black shorts with gold hardware at Michael Kors, I got a green Theory skirt with buttons and a black French Connection dress with cutouts at Bloomie’s, and Windsor got Stuart Weitzman leopard pumps, all at ridiculous prices. But 3+ hours there was not nearly enough time, so we are heading back there tonight to hit the rest of the stores we didn’t get to.
Here I am with Windsor and the three of our shopping bags!
After shopping, we had dinner at P.F. Chang’s at the outlet mall, which was delicious. Then we were driving back, and spotted a Krispy Kreme on the side of the road. What’s more, the “HOT!” sign was on, meaning the donuts were freshly baked and would be hot. We could not resist. So we pulled into the Krispy Kreme drive-thru and were going to each get one original glazed donut. But then we realized that half a dozen cost only a tiny bit more than three individual donuts, so we decided we should opt for that. Then we got up to the drive-thru window and ordered our half dozen original glazed donuts, and the women told us that for only a dollar more, we could get a full dozen! It was obvious what we had to do.
YUM!!!
