Yesterday was the perfect day to wear one of my favorite mini dresses, I thought. I love pairing dresses with leggings and just rocking it out. But oh boy—did something unexpected happen. Talk about wardrobe malfunction.
Â
From the time it took me to walk from the student union to the library, only one building over, my leggings actually started to fall down. By the time I got to the bathroom the readjust, I looked in the mirror and the crotch of my trusty leggings had actually fell beneath the hemline of my mini dress.
Â
I was horrified. Low riding is definitely not my style. But then it hit me—my body is changing so much that clothes are literally falling off me!
Â
So for today’s weigh-in, I lost 1.5 lbs. The number may not seem like much, but the muscle tone I’m getting from all my workouts is really paying off. I wish we were measuring in inches as well, because I swear to you, my middle is decreasing— Obviously since my leggings can’t stay up anymore.
Â
But also, this is a huge milestone for me. My total weight loss is now 11 lbs, not only entering me into the negative double digits, but finally bringing me out of the 200 lb-zone. In fact, I now weigh around what I did before being stalked last semester. Its almost like that whole situation didn’t affect me at all anymore, and it’s a good feeling to finally shed my one souvenir from that experience.
Â
I’d say an accomplishment like this deserves a reward. How about some new leggings?
