Need a New Body Wash? Here are HC’s Favorites!

The right body wash leave you clean, sweetly scented, and moisturized. The HC Team weighed in on their favorite body washes. Do you agree with their picks?

Ivory Simply Ivory:
“My favorite body wash is Ivory’s Simply Ivory. The description on the bottle is 100% accurate: ‘Not too much and not too little. Just the right amount of bubbles. Just a little scent. And there you go.’  I think the best part is the bubbles. This body wash generates a fantastic amount of tiny fluffy bubbles that makes showering even more fun!”
– Annie Wang, Harvard, Her Campus Co-founder, CTO, and Creative Director

Caress Body Wash in Tahitian Renewal, Evenly Gorgeous, Cashmere Luxury, and Daily Silk:

“I love Caress Tahitian Renewal! It’s cheap and smells amazing. The pomegranate seeds feel nice on the skin, and the smell will take you away to a tropical island. For people who don’t like creamy smells like vanilla and lavender, Tahitian Renewal is perfect.”
– Charmaine Ng, University of Oregon, Her Campus Oregon Contributing Writer

“I’m obsessed with Caress Body Wash in Evenly Gorgeous! It smells like burnt brown sugar and karite butter. It exfoliates, moisturizes and  leaves you smelling so good!”
– Shaina Dennis, University of Maine, Her Campus Maine Campus Correspondant

“I swear by any of the Caress body washes, though my favorites have to be Cashmere Luxury and Daily Silk. They make my skin feel so soft and they have such a great fresh scent that isn’t too fruity, flowery, or overpowering. And an added bonus? They seem to always be on sale on Target.”
– Sarah Weinberg, San Diego State University, Her Campus Contributing Writer

Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash:

“Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash.  I’m hardly of age to use anti-aging products, but I have incredibly dry skin and this body wash managed to moisturize my skin all day.  It’s also my favorite scent, jojoba.  The ads say your skin will improve in only seven days, and I actually did see an improvement in softness and tone in that amount of time.”
– Lindsey Stevens, Hanover College, Her Campus Hanover Campus Correspondant

Weleda Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash:
“I just have to rave about Weleda Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash. I’ve tried so many different body washes (even more expensive ones), and this one takes the cake.  The smell is incredible in your shower – super fragrant but not fake. The formula is moisturizing but still cleansing, and the consistency is creamy and perfect. You can get it at Target.”
– Alana Peden, University of Texas – Austin, Her Campus Contributing Writer

Dove Body Washes:

“I am absolutely obsessed with Dove body washes – I have their moisturizing body wash with exfoliating beads and the apricot body wash and I switch off between the two of them throughout the week. Amazing!”
– Rachel Kossman, Northeastern University, Her Campus Northeastern Campus Correspondant

Suave Naturals Apricot Exfoliating Body Wash:
“My new favorite body wash is Suave Naturals Apricot Exfoliating Body Wash. It has a pretty color, a gentle, exfoliating texture, and a nice smell that’s not too strong. It’s also extremely affordable.”
– Liz Tomaselli, Eckerd College, Her Campus Eckerd Campus Correspondant
