Friday, March 25, 2011 marked the 100th anniversary of the devastating Triangle Shirwaist Factory Fire in what is now the Brown Building.  There was a memorial service on Friday to honor and remember the 146 people that died in the fire, which brought together members of the NYU community with citizens of New York City including Mayor Bloomberg and representatives of President Obama.
