Youtube Video of the Week: Chemistry Jock

 Before you decide to ignore this video because it has the word “Chemistry” in the title, let me explain why this is such a great video.

 The UCLA Chemistry students reword “Bedrock” by Young Money, but with Chemistry terms and concepts. As a possible Chemistry major, I can honestly say I barely understood half of the chemistry in this video, but I still enjoyed it. Everyone looked like they were having fun, and they were very creative in both their lyrics and their “stage names.” Don’t tell me that “Cheminem” and “Chemillionaire” are not clever. Also, this is one of the very few non-professional cover videos that are not completely off beat with the song. That automatically makes me happy.

This is a fun and intelligent video. Not many videos can pull off both at the same time, but this one does very well.
