I usually really hate buying bathing suits in the spring because I’m so pale and everyone knows trying on a bathing suit when you’re tan is way better. But I obviously make exceptions when I see really nice bathing suits that will probably be long past gone when I finally get a tan.
Express
encouraged me to “dive into the season’s sexiest swimwear” with their fantastic women’s swimwear line which actually made me so excited to choose bathing suits. I went all-out and got 2 full bathing suits + 1 top I can wear with a bottom I already have. I chose the Soft Bandeau Bikini top in black, a striped bandeau bikini in purple and the neon yellow ruffled bandeau bikini. So excited for the yellow especially! I’ve been meaning to get a yellow bathing suit for a long time.
They have a lot of variety with their swimsuits including the new IT suit-type, mono-kinis, a recent celeb must-have, string bikinis, my favorite strapless/bandeau suits and halter top styles; there really is something for everyone. I loved the variety of bright colors and patterns, plus tons of classic black suits which are universally flattering.
Other than the look of the bathing suits, with the sexy ties and playful ruffles, what I really love about these bathing suits are two functionality features. The tops all have removable padding which I appreciate, because then I can switch it up on top. The bottoms are a little smaller — another celeb trend — so you’ll maximize your tan (but don’t forget the suntan lotion!). Perfect!
If shopping for bathing suits leaves you itching to do some more online shopping definitely check out their men’s swimsuits, sandals, beach tote bags, sunglasses, and hats. They have this one fedora I’m seriously lusting over.
I don’t know about you, but stocking up for the summer definitely helps get me through drab rainy days when I’m stuck inside!!
And, if you don’t want to splurge not only are the bathing suits on sale (less then $25 for separates) but you can sign up for the Express e-mail for a chance to win one of ten $200 Express GiftCards! For sweepstakes rules click the link!
Let me know what you think of my bathing suit choices and all of Express’ spring swimwear! I can’t wait to wear them when I go to Florida later this month :)
