Not everyone has time to go to the gym or likes running outside, so what are those kind of collegietttes™ supposed to do? Here are some easy ways to get in shape:

• Walk with a friend. Catch up with a friend by walking around campus or at a park instead of grabbing coffee.
Carry your groceries in reusable bags. Lifting and carrying your groceries will give your arms a work out and it will also limit how much you should buy.
Clean your room. Vacuuming, doing laundry, and sweeping all burn more calories than you think.
Do crunches, pushups, jumping jacks or squats during commercials when watching TV. This may sound silly, but doing these easy exercises will increase your heart rate to help you burn calories instead of being sedentary for the entire show.
Walk around while you are on the phone. Instead of sitting, stand up and walk around your room as you talk.

More Healthy Tips:
• Avoid eating late at night
• Drink water instead of soda
• Eat breakfast – it speeds up your metabolism
• Park further away, even if it may take a few extra minutes.
• If you have an internship or work, get up and walk around the office every hour
• If you have a bike on-campus, go for a ride around and look at the flowers blooming
