The moment you glance at Stephanie Rosario, you wonder how she looks so perfect. From her full lashes to her long golden locks, Stephanie is a beauty. And now she’s telling us all her secrets from her daily makeup routine to what she always carries in her purse.

Tell us about your experience in beauty pageants. 

In 2009, I participated in the Miss Dominican Republic of Perth Amboy pageant just for fun. At the beginning, it wasn’t a serious matter to me; I was 20 pounds heavier and thought that it would never happen. I became determined to win, I lost 20 pounds and I sacrificed a lot. Next thing I knew I was Miss Dominican Republic of Perth Amboy. Anything in life is possible if you believe in yourself. I learned that. It was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Modeling has become somewhat of a hobby for me. It’s something that I now only do in my spare time or when I can.


Where do you get your confidence?
I used to have a really low self-esteem until I went fourth with the pageant. That pageant taught me to believe in myself and that anything is possible. I also learned not to pay mind to what people have to say about you because there will always be people trying to bring me down, I just have to keep my head held up high.
Do you have a style icon?
Rihanna. I love Rihanna’s style in every way shape and form. That girl can pull anything off; she’s HOT!
 
What is your daily makeup routine?
My daily makeup routine is very simple, mascara, a bit of bronzer and blush.
 
How many pairs of shoes do you own? ‘
I have way too many shoes, I probably own over 30 pairs!

Do you have any fashion obsessions? Bags? Shoes? Jewelry? What item can’t you get enough of?
The item I can’t get enough of is jewelry. I really just can’t get enough of it! I am an accessory girl.
 
What is inside your handbag says a lot about you. What do you always carry in your purse?
I can’t live without my bag; I carry the world in there, everything a girl may possibly need is found in my bag. You would probably only see me around with a big bag.
 
What are your wardrobe staples?
I cannot live without sweatpants/ leggings and a working pair of Uggs. Every girl has that day where you just want to “bum it out.”
 
What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever received?
Beauty in shape and looks won’t last, but beauty in the heart and soul is forever.
