Why did you decide to run for Student Body President?
I decided to run because I love this University, and I saw an opportunity to use my leadership skills to lead the students.
What is the biggest change you would like to see while you’re in office?
Centralized information (whether it be a calendar, etc.) so that students know what is going on!
What advice would you give to incoming freshman?
Get involved!!!!! And wear red. =)
What is your favorite campus event to attend and why?
I like to attend the Campus Farmers’ Market in the Brickyard, you can usually find me there buying a cookie! But seriously, the opportunity to buy fresh food every Wednesday is an awesome benefit for N.C. State students.
What is your favorite N.C. State tradition?
Wearing red and sitting in the student section at Carter-Finley!
Where do you study when you’re cramming for an exam?
Hm, this changes depending on the situation, but either at my kitchen table or in the library.
What has been your best and worst class experiences here at State?
My best class experience was filming a video freshman year in Eng 282Q, a intro to film class.
My worst class experience was taking chemistry at 8:30 in the morning freshman year, what was I thinking…?
What do you want to do after you graduate?
After I graduate I want to go to graduate school for Higher Education in Student Affairs.
What is your ideal job?
My ideal job is working in Student Affairs at N.C. State!
What is your guilty pleasure?
I can’t turn down chocolate, especially M&Ms or chocolate chips!
