Earth Day at University of Iowa 2011

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Iowa chapter.

The last week in April marks the last week of Earth Day 2011 at the University of Iowa.  Green efforts have been initiated all over Iowa City, including tree-planting, weed-picking, and a slew of speakers with sustainability inspiration.  But it’s not too late to get involved!  Show your support for our Earth this week with these green events.

For a full list of Earth Day 2011 events, including bike to campus, bioswale clean up, and the I-Renew Expo, visit http://sustainability.uiowa.edu/

There were so many amazing events, here they are all in one place!
