If you’re not already familiar with Glamour magazine’s Top 10 College Women contest, you should be! Each year, the magazine honors 10 collegiettes™ who are doing unbelievable things in all different sectors, like nonprofit work, athletics, research, anything!
The application for this year’s Top 10 College Women is now open, and Her Campus is proud to be an official 2012 Glamour Top 10 College Women Affiliate, so we can help find the most amazing college girls out there for this year’s list!
The contest has always given amazing recognition and exposure to the girls selected, but this year, the prize is that much better: one woman will win a grand prize of $20,000, and the 9 others will each win a prize of $3,000! Plus, all winners get to go on a trip to NYC and will receive recognition in Glamour. For this year’s list, Glamour is looking for “dynamic young women with leadership experience, excellent grades, and inspiring goals.” Cheers to that!
Think you fit the bill? You know you do! Apply NOW (by July 15, 2011, but the sooner the better) to be considered. You must be a rising junior (will be a college junior in the 2011-2012 school year) in order to be eligible. You’ll need to write an essay and get letters of recommendation, so get going on your application stat!
