Dearest Collegiettes™,

It seems like yesterday when we wrote our first  ‘News’ section article, introducing ourselves to you, and you to Her Campus St. Olaf! Remember a metaphor about a red carpet and high heels (best foot forward)? Believe it or not, it wasn’t yesterday but all the way back in November of 2010!

We are proud to report that since then, Her Campus St. Olaf is still going strong and thanks to our photographers, writers and bloggers, we have been able to offer you some great content in our first year of publication (if we do say so ourselves)! From work-out tips with our Fram Fram to Fitness blog, fashion do’s and don’ts from our StO-Style blog, easy-to-make-and-bake recipes from our Cooking on Campus blog, to the low-down on music (Taylor’s Tunes), sex/dating/relationships (Beneath the Sheets and on the Street), advice (Ask Miss Manitou), make-up tips (Celebrate Makeup), study-abroad blogs (Ole Abroad) and of course, Campus Celebrity and Campus Cutie, we hope we have offered something of interest to all of our readers!

As your Campus Correspondents for almost seven months, we of course want to thank all of you lovely readers for your support! As we said in our first article, we believe that Her Campus St. Olaf is a fresh and unique publication and opportunity for Ole women. We appreciate any feedback on how we can make this site better catered to YOU – the women of St. Olaf!

And remember: while Her Campus St. Olaf is aimed primarily at females, we do not discriminate! We love ALL our readers and contributers no matter what gender. So guys – even though the website is girly, we would love your feedback and support too!

Currently, this (May 18, 2011) is our last publication before summer vacation! Rest assured, however that we will return in September! As always, we welcome any and all suggestions and are looking for readers, writers, bloggers, photographers – anyone and everyone interested in being a part of Her Campus St. Olaf!

If you are just checking Her Campus St. Olaf out for the first time this summer and want to be a part of our team in the fall, feel free to e-mail lucycasale@hercampus.com or briannawilson@hercampus.com for specifics on how to get involved! Also please e-mail us with any comments/questions/suggestions you have! Like our content? We would be so grateful if you could further support us by ‘liking’ us on our Facebook fan page and ‘following’ us on Twitter!

We hope you have a wonderful summer!

xoxo,
Lucy Casale & Bri Wilson
