One of the benefits of being an entrepreneur with a web-based business is that you can travel and work from almost anywhere with a trusty internet connection. It just so happened that this summer I had the opportunity to do quite a bit of traveling (yay!). In a month’s time, I visited Boston, Detroit, New York, Asheville (NC), Destin (FL), Atlanta, Carolina Beach (NC), Sedona (AZ) and Phoenix!
I already blogged about my family beach trip to the “Redneck Riviera” and I thought it was about time for another vacation-inspired post.Â
My boyfriend’s family has a beachhouse in Miramar Beach, FL that they graciously invited me to for the 4th of July. Not one to ever turn down an opportunity to chillax on a beach, I soon found myself procuring some shockingly well priced plane tickets from NC via Vision Airlines (seems sketch but it’s not – the plane was surprisingly nice).Â
The trip was lovely – full of fresh seafood, cold cocktails, beach time, and even a trip to the Bass Pro Shop (if you’ve never been it’s a MUST do – trust me on this one). Check out some pictures from my vacay below.Â
Me and my boyfriend after dinner one night. (Dress look familiar? Yes – I may have worn it in Miami).Â
We found a bar that serves frozen drinks and daiquiris out of slushie machines – genius if you ask me.Â
This man may have had one (or five) too many of the margaritas…
Yes, we found a golf card made to look like a Hummer. Amazing.Â
At the Bass Pro Shop, my boyfriend’s sister Rachael and I tried on some of the hunting gear. We may have gotten a few strange looks from the sales staff on the floor.Â
My favorite pic from our trip to Bass Pro Shop. Like my jacket? Yes, you too can own one.Â
