The Biggest Thing on Campus
…that’s what she said!
Â
Come check out Colleges Against Cancer at NYU! Â Our mission is to unite the NYU community in the fight against cancer, by working towards a signature overnight fundraising event, Relay for Life. Â Relay For Life and Colleges Against Cancer are both American Cancer Society entities, so 100% of money we fundraise goes directly to the American Cancer Society to support all of their incredible programs.
Â
At Relay For Life 2011 we raised $171,000 in the fight against cancer for the American Cancer Society making us the single largest student-run fundraiser on campus. Â We also were the 2nd largest fundraiser in the Eastern Collegiate Division of Relay For Life beating out schools like Cornell and Columbia. Â This is the one club on campus that truly unites all NYU students, faculty, and staff. Â
Â
Â
Whether you’re new to NYU or have been thinking about getting involved before, this is the year. Â Colleges Against Cancer and Relay For Life is celebrating its 10th anniversary of being part of the NYU community. Â Our goal is to raise $200,000 in the fight against cancer, and we need your help! Â Committee positions are still available. Â
Â
So join us tonight for our first interest meeting to meet the e-board, get to know who we are and what we’re all about, and of course eat some delicious FREE food (all of your faves from Trader Joe’s). Â
