Dear JT, Please bring sexy back.
If you’ve been missing Justin Timberlake’s pop hits on the radio, you aren’t alone. Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer, co-hosts of the humor podcast You Had To Be There, released a satirical video mourning JT’s absence from the music industry on their newly-launched YouTube channel, NikkiSaraComedy.
The video, Justin Timberlake, Make Music Again, has quickly gone viral with over 256,428 views since it was uploaded last week. The three-minute comedy skit shot in the style of sobering campaign advertisement, but with a funny twist: all of the people are promoting a “Justin Timberlake, Make Music Again” campaign.
A group of fans plead for new music from the pop star since he dropped his last album over five years ago FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006. “Look Justin, we get it. You’re funny, you’re charming,” they say. “But the sexy is no longer back.” Without his music, young women are catatonic, music-lovers everywhere are crying and “children are dying… probably.” And let’s face it, Bruno Mars just doesn’t cut it.
Timberlake himself, seemed to appreciate the humor in the video, tweeting “‘cause that’s how science works…’ Hahaha LMAO.”
Even if you’re not a JT fan, we think this video is hilarious. Don’t believe us? Check out the video above and share your opinion with us in the comments box below!
