Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth Shaw, but you can call me Liz :) I’m a junior Speech Communications major with a concentration in Broadcasting. I host, produce, and write for the entertainment news show “The Vibe” on MUTV and I am secretary of NBS. I’ve known that I wanted to be on air and working in communications as soon as I started working on my high school’s television station!
I live about 45 minutes from Philly and I would love to work there some day. I love learning about and consuming everything about the media, so I am so excited to write for Her Campus Millersville!
My favorite TV shows… The Colbert Report, Jersey Shore, Chelsea Lately, True Hollywood Story, Fashion Police, Four Weddings, etc.
My favorite movies… The First Wives Club, Gran Torino, Elf, Dazed and Confused, Mean Girls, Bring It On, any cheesy 90s movie :)
The concerts I’ve been to… Dave Matthews Band and Zac Brown Band, Katy, Perry, Hall and Oates
My favorite hobby is… FASHION. i love putting together outfits, finding great bargains, and giving my friends and family makeovers!
Some things you may not know about me… I’m a HUGE Philadelphia Flyers fan, I love dessert, I love leopard print, if I don’t wear earrings I feel naked.
