This week in New York City, celebrities have been enjoying Fashion Week’s couture and the equally glamourous after parties. Last Thursday, young celebs like Mischa Barton and Dakota Fanning attended a Marc Jacobs event at the Dream Hotel in Manhattan. One star who wasn’t present? Linsday Lohan, who was refused entry at the door. Although the 25 year old actress briefly made it in (she called in a favor to Vikram Chatwal, the hotel’s owner, who reportedly walked her inside), she was quickly escorted out again by security.Â
Why the rude welcome? It could be due to the incident that occured at the V Magazine Black and White Ball, where Lindsey threw her drink (glass and all) at a photographer, missed and hit a cocktail waitress instead. Rather than apologizing Linsday shouted, “Not you, him!” at the young woman who was later carried out of the event on a stretcher, the back of her dress reportedly soaked in blood. Or it could be the spat she got into at  a Nine West event at Beauty & Essex, where she cornered a photographer on a staircase and screamed at him until he deleted pictures off of his camera that she didn’t approve of. Whatever the reason behind the explusion, Lindsay didn’t let it ruin her night. After being escorted out of one party, she quickly moved on to another and finished her night at The Electric Room, where she partied with Mick Jagger and Courtney Love.
