The newest edition to the Twilight cast, Dakota Fanning, has recently begun her freshman year at NYU. She may have opted for a college degree, but is bucking the pesky trend most mainstream college students look forward to the most-the dorm.
The 17 year-old actress opted instead for a luxurious two-bedroom at 225 Lafayette, a dramatic condominium building with big-name neighbors like John Mayer and Keith Richard’s daughter, Theodora.
A transplant to the North East, Fanning has adjusted to a wardrobe of fashionable, weatherproof attire, just don’t expect her to show up for class in sweats. “If you ever catch me in sweatpants in class, that’s not good,” she told People Magazine. “I’ve tried not to dress like that.”
