What are you watching on TV these days? Are you finding yourself with more free time this semester than you imagined (impressive by the way) and eager to add one more show to your repertoire? Take a look at what the collegiettes™ at Her Campus are watching for a recommendation!

I’m totally in love with Supernatural. The storyline is amazing because it’s about more than just two guys fighting monsters while driving around in an old car. The underlying story is so much more complicated, and all of the characters actually have substance and seem incredibly real. (And the fact that two incredibly good looking men lead the cast might help a little.)
– Holly Storrow, Branch Manager, Ohio University

Modern Family because it is the most hilarious show on television. Desperate Housewives because, in addition to it being deliciously scandalous, it is the final season and I’ve been watching for years. I absolutely love the women of Wysteria Lane and will miss them dearly.
– Vanessa Meuir, Campus Correspondent, University of Missouri

Modern Family! It’s so smart, funny, and the casting is perfect. There’s a reason it dominated the Emmys this year!

I am loving The Lying Game because it just captivates me! I always want to know what’s coming next and when the show ends I keep trying to piece things together. It’s a teenage version of criminal minds and it makes you think while vegging out.
– Kathleen Kalinsky, Publicity Team, James Madison University

I am currently watching America’s Next Top Model because I love the modeling world and anything to do with modeling.
-Kalia Williams, Campus Correspondent, Howard University

Glee and The Middle!  I love comedy shows because any show that I watch is an escape from all of the paper writing and my crazy schedule with my sorority and publication clubs that I am in.  The Glee premier was epic with Lea Michele stealing the show…since Rachel is my favorite character, I was definitely not complaining.  The Middleis a comedy about a family trying to get by living in the “fly over states” in the mid-west.  Since I’m from the mid-west and totally get the humor, I seriously cannot miss that show!
–  Nikki Williams, Campus Correspondent, University of Michigan

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, because it’s the best show on television.
– Peter Frankman, Campus Correspondent, University of Ohio

I LOVED the premiere of The New Girl. It was so cute and funny! I was bummed it was only 30 minutes long! I’m really excited for The Hart of Dixie to start on the CW too! I loved Rachel Bilson when she was on The O.C. so I’m excited to see her playing a new role
– Laura Maddox, Campus Correspondent, Appalachian State University

The Real Housewives of NJ– it’s so much drama and they’re all hilarious!  Also, I stayed at the same hotel they did in Punta Cana this summer so I thought that was so cool.
Also, Millionaire Matchmaker, The Rachel Zoe Project, Modern Family.
– Alexa Johnson, Campus Correspondent, James Madison University

Grey’s Anatomy because it is becoming less and less believable every season!
– Lauryn Paiva, Editorial Intern, Northeastern University

I am looking forward to watching Whitney. It just seems relatable and funny. I am a Gleek too, so I am looking forward to the new season of Glee.
– Jaira Keys, Campus Correspondent, Texas Tech

Castle, because it combines suspense, comedy and romance. What more could you ask for?! And Community, as I am in love in Donald Glover. Also I’m obsessed with Chevy Chase, Joel McHale and Ken Jeong.
– Kaitlyn Schnell, Campus Correspondent, University of Wisconsin: Madison

Mad Men– It’s such a sexy, twisted show. There’s no way I’ll ever stop watching. Boardwalk Empire- It’s Mad Men, but set in New Jersey in the 20’s, and it substitutes ad billboards for booze. Steve Buschemi is the #1 reason I am watching this show, he is one of my favorite actors.
– Melanie Yates, Branch Manager, Hofstra University

When it comes to TV, I look for hilarious characters and witty plot lines. These shows are the best: Parks and Recreation, Community, Arrested Development, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and 30 Rock.
– Gennifer Delman, How She Got There Editor, Hofstra University
