Name: Shannon McEntee
Year: Freshman
Major: D.U.S. on track for a Business Major
Hometown: Rock Hill, South Carolina

This Southern Sweetheart catches the attention of everyone she sees simply by walking into the room. A recent pledge for Chi Omega, Shannon has a great personality and a friendly disposition toward any and everyone she meets. Along with a full course load, she is also involved in Habitat for Humanity and Ski Club with hopes of adding the Invisible Children’s Club to her list of activities.

HC: What is your dream job?
Shannon: My dream job would involve three things I love in life; traveling, meeting new people and math. I would travel the world, meet people who do not understand math and teach it to them.

HC: How would you describe your personal style?
Shannon: I would describe my personal style as polished comfortable. I usually just wear a nice shirt and jeans/shorts. But during midterms, I slack down to just comfortable with my yoga pants.

HC: If you could bring any band to campus for a concert, who would you choose?
Shannon: I would choose Maroon 5 because I love them and I also think many people like their music. They reach out to a wide variety of people.

HC: Do you have a Bucket List?
Shannon: My floor mates and I actually just made one for freshmen year with things like hike Mount Nittany and get “popcorned” at the football games.

HC: What is something you could not live without?
Shannon: I could not live without my camera. I am the type of person that needs to capture every moment. I actually feel sad if I miss an important moment of my friends’ lives or mine.

HC: What is the sweetest thing a guy has ever done for you?
Shannon: The guy I dated throughout highschool was out of town one weekend and of course it was a weekend where my basketball team lost and I was stressed with school because I got back a few bad grades. So it was a horrible weekend and he could not come over because he was getting back late Sunday night. But, on Monday morning I came down the stairs at 6:30 a.m.—I live 45 minutes away from him—to see him with breakfast and flowers. It was so nice and it made my day perfect!
