It seems that on screen and off, Taylor Lautner really does prefer to be a one man wolf pack. Sources have confirmed that he initiated a split from his girlfriend and Abduction co-star Lily Collins earlier this month, just a week before the L.A. premiere of their movie. Despite Lautner’s rep announcing that the relationship ended with a “clean break,” an Us Weekly source said that at the Abduction premiere party, “it was awkward” and that he and his 22-year-old actress and model ex-girlfriend “barely said a word to one another.”Â
Despite being together for a year the couple kept things low-key, although they were seen together and Taylor brought Lily to his Seventeen Magazine photo shoot, introduced her as his girlfriend, and mentioned their powerful chemisty So what turned things from steamy to lukewarm? Things got frosty about three months ago, when Lily spent time in Canada to film an upcoming version of Snow White.  According to his rep, Taylor just wants to be single right now but a source told E! News that the 19-year-old heartthrob didn’t want to make an effort when the relationship went long distance. The only thing that sources seem to agree on is that things were over way before the break up made headlines.
