Celebrity Style Copycat: How to Rock Fall Fashion Trends

From the Emmys to Milan Fashion Week, celebrities are suiting up in haute couture for their respective red-carpet appearances this fall season. And with the changing colors of the leaves, we’re also seeing a change to those celebrity styles.

A-listers and B-listers alike are exchanging their maxi dresses and cork wedges for plaid patterns and leather jackets. There’s a trend of rust colors, mismatched prints, and layers, although some celebs still can’t let go of their summer trends. Click through to see how a few of our favorite celebrities are revamping their styles for fall and how you can copy them!

Emma (or better known as Hermione Granger, Hogwarts witch-in-training) rocked the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards earlier this month. She donned an eyebrow-raising Alexander McQueen tartan dress with studded heels and a black leather bomber jacket. If you want to put a little rock and roll edge in your step, try heels with gothic details– studs, chains and buckled straps do the trick. If you’re not bold enough to don a complete tartan dress like Emma, but you still want to rock the plaid trend, try this simple plaid flannel t-shirt or a plaid handbag.
