One thing that I’ve noticed is that when it comes to picking out outfits I’m lazy. And when you have three back-to-back morning classes that doesn’t help unless you don’t mind looking like a slob the rest of the day. So what I’m loving at the moment is MAXI SKIRTS!! All I have to do is throw one on and I look put together all day without spending hours planning out my outfit the night before. Oh, and did I mention that maxi skirts are more comfortable than sweats? I usually pair my maxi skirts with a basic tank, long necklace, and flats/sandals.

But I have been seeing people pair them with combat boots, which I absolutely adore for fall. And if you are one of those people that thinks you’re too short or maybe you went a little crazy with the Warren Tower cookies to wear maxi skirts, think again. From personal experience I think they make you’re legs look longer if you buy a high-waisted skirt. And if you think you need to camouflage the waist area try a crop top so you won’t have to tuck in your shirt. For this fall don’t be afraid to try out a maxi skirt because if you love it and wear it with confidence you will look fabueno (aka like Heidi Klum).

And here’s a special shout out to my good friend Rachel for being my model for this post. Check out the photos for some inspiration.
