Today Dina Manzo – one of the original Real Housewives of New Jersey and the sister of current NJ Housewife Caroline Manzo – commented on some of the accusations made on RHNJ Reunion show last night.Â
During the explosive reunion episode Caroline accused Teresa Guidice of causing problems in her relationship with her youngest sister. Although Dina left the show partway through Season 2 due to conflicts with Danielle Staub, she still chimed in on the Sunday night drama. On her personal blog, Dina addressed her rocky relationship with Caroline and her friendship with Teresa, who replaced Danielle Staub as the villain of Season 3 by constantly cutting down her sister-in-law and taking shots at her extended family and friends in her most recent cookbook.
In today’s blog post The Truth, Dina wrote that she distanced herself from all of the housewives after season 2 not only due to the “toxic behavior,” but also because of her increased involvement in her charity foundation, Project Ladybug. The only comment Dina made about Caroline was pervaded with positivity. At the very beginning of her post Dina wrote,  “during this time some things that I will NOT get into did happen behind the scenes with certain family members and there is no right or wrong really…it depends on who you ask. Feelings did get hurt…I won’t get into them because I have no desire to rehash the past that can only hurt my parents whom I adore. I would rather stay away from it than fight, that’s what works for me and guess what? that’s ok.”  When it came to her relationship with Teresa, Dina continued to focus on the positive, writing about how supportive Teresa has been with her charity and her new show.Â
It seems like Dina has kept her calm, non-confrontational attitude, even after leaving the show. Do you think the other housewives will be just as introspective and optimistic in season 4 or do you expect to see some more serious lashing out?Â
