What is your favorite song? Back of a Truck by Regina Spektor

What do you love about Ole women? Olaf women are in general pretty ideal.  They’re intelligent, active/talented, beautiful, fun, interesting and have a good sense of humor!  I’m not ready to leave The Hill and not be constantly surrounded by beautiful, intelligent women!

Who is your favorite female role model or celebrity? For female role model, I’m going to be cheesy here, but I’d say my mom, Judy Delperdang.  She’s a sweet and caring woman and full of courage, strength, and hope.  She’s a source of inspiration and can be a refuge when needed, but she’s also simply a great friend.

What is the most romantic thing you have done for a girl? I once wrote a girlfriend a note of the 100 things I loved about her.

What is your favorite place to study on campus and why? It varies but a few of my favorite spots are The Jungle (for good company and a chill but active atmosphere), the third floor of Tomson in the overhang over the east entrance (it’s a beautiful view of the campus and a good spot for some quite study although a little challenging for weekend morning studying…), and my favorite although not often practical during the school year is on the roof of Regents (a mix of being outside but also on/in an academic building so you can actually get some studying done).

What is your favorite meal in the Caf? Probably falafel, but I usually eat at the Grains line and there are some really delicious things that run through the Grains line without me having any idea what it is.  I’m not a picky eater (aside from being vegetarian) and I love eating, so almost every meal is a favorite!

Any secret or hidden talents? Although it’s far from hidden back home, it the Olaf community a little known fact is that I love to compose choral music.  I had three pieces premiered the spring of my senior year in high school, including our graduation song.

Finish this sentence: A girl looks her best when….
A girl looks her best when… she smiles.

Describe your personal style. It varies by season but it’s a mix of cyclist, hippy, classy/French, v-necked, and often the least amount of clothing possible.

Guilty pleasure? My love for the Spice Girls…

Extra-curricular activities: Chapel Choir, Co-leading Community Scholars, Cycling Team, President of St. Olaf’s Green House (Haldorsen), TA-ing for the Physics Dept, and working in the Pause Kitchen

What is your ideal date? Going out to for some Indian food, seeing a play, and then coming back, having ice cream and/or drinks and talking, followed by star gazing with it being just cold enough that we need to be close to stay warm.

Pet Peeves? Caf trays being left by the drinks while the person gets something from some other area.

Coffee or tea? Although both are great, there’s a reason I’m addicted to coffee…
