Meet this week’s Campus Cutie: Prashanth Selvam. A Sophomore, this Campus Cutie has made his mark on campus, as he is involved in a wide variety of activities at Conn… and he is definitely getting noticed for it. As one student gushed, “His smile and great sense of humor can make any girl giddy.” Another student shared, “He is actually one of the cutest boys on campus.” So, without further adieu, see what this heartthrob had to say…

Favorite song right now?
Haven’t updated my music in quite a while but off the top of my head, Golden Age by Asteroid Galaxy Tour.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
Swimming alongside dolphins in the Pacific ocean.

How are you involved on campus?
I’m class president for the sophomore class and I’m a part of Vox Cameli, the finest a cappella group in New England. Besides that, I work at the Help Desk, Language and Culture Center and also with OVCS. I recently started a men’s hair cutting business… Let’s see how that goes.

What is your go-to Harris meal?
Honey-Nut cheerios in Vanilla soy milk with banana slices. Simple, yet delectable.

Who is your idol and why?
It’s a tie between Optimus Prime (for fairly obvious reasons) and Otto Frederick Rohwedder, inventor of the first loaf-at-a-time bread-slicing machine.

When not in class, where can you be found?
A lot of different places but mostly in the library, Harris or Liam Lawson’s room in Larabee. Pretty much anywhere where I can be around other people. You may also find me climbing trees around central campus.

How do you feel about being this week’s campus cutie?
Pleasantly surprised.
