Celebs, and supermodels, and $2.5 million bras, oh my!
Last night, NYC celebrated everyone’s fave lingerie at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The event will air on CBS on Nov. 29 at 10PM, but if you (or your guy) can’t wait for the deets, HC’s got you covered!
The Stars
The show featured top models like Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman. Celeb performers included Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West. West, who was the show’s most buzzed-about celeb, did a duet with surprise guest Jay-Z.
Adam Levine strutted his stuff while performing “Moves Like Jagger” alongside his girlfriend, VS Angel Anne Vyalitsyna. The power couple even paused for a cheek kiss on the runway.
The Fashion
This year’s runway was all about being bold. Here’s a breakdown of the show’s big themes:
Super-angels—The VS Angels were decked out in superhero costumes, giving a whole new purpose to those signature wings. Some of the ladies also sported capes.
Ballet—Tutus, tulle, feathers, ruffles and lace-up stilettos accented pink and red VS lingerie.
Victoriana—The models’ parasols, jewels, and high collars would make Queen Victoria herself proud (once she recovered from the shock of seeing all those bustiers).
Club Pink—To close out the show, the VS angels sported bright, fun pieces from the Pink collection, a staple for collegiettes™. They added a runway twist with whimsical accessories like neon lights.
But the evening’s showstopper was Miranda Kerr in a peacock Fantasy Bra embellished with diamonds.
