Her Campus Emory (HCE): What are some of your pet-peeves?
Kam (K): Having a filthy room, people borrowing my stuff in the frat house and not returning it, and being stuck in traffic.

HCE: What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?
K: Mint chocolate chip with brownies and cookie dough.

HCE: What are some words you live by or your favorite quote?
K: “Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” –Steve Jobs

HCE: What is your most embarrassing moment?
K: My friends were texting me from a random number pretending to be a girl that I was interested in. They built it up to inviting me to hang out only to see them at the location laughing. I’m brown, but I must’ve gotten a little red!

HCE: What are your dating deal-breakers?
K: Texting or calling people at dinner, not bringing any insight into our conversations, and not saying thank you at the end.

HCE: What do you find most attractive in a girl?
K: A girl with a great smile is the first thing that catches my attention.

HCE: If you had to cook dinner for a date, what would you cook?
K: I would make a pasta and chicken dish with a pesto sauce and sundried tomatoes with a side salad.

HCE: What are your future goals and ambitions?
K: I plan on getting a masters in public health during my gap year while working at the CDC, focusing on concussion awareness and legislation at the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control and then go to medical school the year after.

HCE: Fun fact about yourself:
K: I studied abroad in Paris this summer, and I’m afraid of heights
