What are you involved with on campus?
I’m on the ski team. I am not on the track team, but I’m about to join. Being on the ski team is awesome. I grew up skiing since I was 16 months old. It was also a bit of a surprise. I ran track and cross country in high school but I didn’t really get to do that here because there’s no varsity track program. So I was looking for something else to do. Being in the Midwest I wasn’t sure if I was going to get to ski at all, but I get to because I’m on the ski team.
What are your future career goals?
I honestly am not sure. I’m thinking about something in the business world, but I really don’t exactly know where I’m heading to.
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Generally, where you go somewhere you haven’t been before. Not just somewhere to eat. I like doing fun things- things that are both relaxing and active at the same time. I’ll go into Chicago and walk around the city or get food at some place I haven’t been before in the city and get out of Evanston. My girlfriend and I do occasionally run together, but I wouldn’t really call it a date.
What do you find most attractive in a woman?
I like girls who are clever, fun and spontaneous. Looks aren’t the biggest thing for me. Intelligent girls who like doing fun and active things like I do.
What are some of the biggest turnoffs in a girl?
I don’t have another way of describing it other than people who act really arrogant or ditzy, not really knowing what they’re doing and spacing out. People who are really concerned with superficial, little things as well.
How would you describe your personality?
I think I can be fun, interesting and outgoing when I need to be, but I’m also very capable of being mature and serious when the situation requires it. I’m very good at sort of adapting to a situation for how I need to behave myself.

Not only is he a dedicated skier and runner, but Jamie also loves to cook sweets for whomever- not just his girlfriend. It’s hard to find a guy who knows when to act fun and when to be serious, but this cutie has it all!
