The Auburn-Alabama rivalry is probably the most competitive, and not to mention, dirtiest in the SEC. The Iron Bowl is the most anticipated game of every fall semester, and the ticket prices are considerably higher than other games due to the intensity of this particular game. Although this year’s game was disappointing, HC Auburn asked a longtime Auburn football fan, Rachel Satterwhite what her thoughts on the game were and she was extremely positive and cordial. “Surprised? Not really- it’s a building season. Disappointed? Yes; however, the best team won and Alabama deserved it. They played well against LSU too… But, same situation there– best team won. Auburn just wasn’t up to snuff and played well for their part the first and third quarter. Good luck to Alabama later!”
